Opaque and Transparent Incubation Trays

Advansta introduces two new lines of covered Incubation Trays

Advansta adds opaque trays for fluorescent applications and transparent trays for colorimetric staining applications

MENLO PARK, California – January 16, 2014 – Advansta Inc. announces the release of two new lines of covered incubation trays; opaque trays for light-sensitive applications and transparent trays for colorimetric staining. Both types of trays are available in four sizes so researchers can find the optimal tray to fit their gel or blot while minimizing the consumption of stains and buffers. The new opaque black trays are perfect for light-sensitive applications such as fluorescent gel staining, fluorescent Western blotting, and fluorescent immunohistochemistry experiments. The new transparent trays let researchers monitor colorimetric staining with ease, and allow gels to be imaged in the tray. Like Advansta’s existing line of covered trays, the new trays have smooth interiors that will not scratch or damage gels or blots and have attached lids to protect experiments from dust. The addition of these two new types of incubation trays strengthens Advansta’s offerings for protein characterization workflow.
