Advansta Inc. announces the release of new Fluorescent Secondary Antibody Conjugates with Infrared Fluorescent Dyes

New secondary antibodies labeled with near IR dyes enhance Adavnsta’s protein characterization portfolio

MENLO PARK, California – April, 2014 – Advansta Inc. announces the release of a full line of secondary antibodies conjugated to near infrared (NIR) fluorescent dyes, increasing the variety of experiments that can be conducted with Advansta’s protein characterization reagents.

Advansta now offers IR 700 and IR 800-labeled goat anti-human, goat anti-rat, goat anti-chicken, goat anti-guinea pig, goat anti-mouse, and goat anti-rabbit secondary antibodies. All antibodies are suitable for IR Western blotting using imagers that can detect near infrared. Each antibody is affinity purified for increased specificity, and has been tested to ensure excellent sensitivity and low background.
